Matthew 10:29-31 — The Value of Your Life: Even the Hairs of Your Head are Numbered
"Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground outside your Father’s care. And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows." — Matthew 10:29-31
In such a vast universe, with billions of galaxies and over eight billion people living on this planet, it is easy to feel insignificant. When we face daily problems — an unpaid bill, a family disagreement, uncertainty about the future, or a silent battle with anxiety — it is common to think that God is not interested in the small details of our existence. We convince ourselves that the Creator only intervenes in major catastrophes or world-scale events, leaving our daily lives to chance.
However, Jesus completely challenges this perspective and reveals the incredibly detailed heart of the Father.
Jesus Knows Everything About Us: Meticulous Knowledge
Jesus goes a step further and declares an astonishing statement: "And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered".
This declaration is not just poetic hyperbole; it is a revelation about the depth of God's knowledge of us. Think about this: you do not know how many hairs you have on your head. No one takes the time to count them, and they change constantly. It is such a trivial and minor detail that it does not affect your daily life.
Yet, God knows.
If He takes the time to know and record such a dynamic and minor detail of your physical body, it means that there is absolutely nothing about you that He does not know. He knows your thoughts before you form them, your tears before they run down your cheeks, your nightly fears, and your deepest dreams. You do not have to hide or pretend in His presence. Jesus knows you in your entirety, with your flaws and virtues, and still loves you with an everlasting love.

"Today I choose to release all anxiety and fear about my future. I declare that I am not invisible to God. My heavenly Father knows me intimately; every detail of my life is under His care, and even the hairs of my head are numbered by Him.
